I was happy to see a short review of the first Mor† tape today on François Couture's music blog, Monsieur Délire. He said:
"Another tape from La Cohu, this one by a trio called Mort and consisting of Jesse Osborne-Lanthier, Samuel Vipond, and Matthew Waddell. Rich experimental electronic music, with feedback, sampling (or is it real drums?), and noises of all kinds, all tightly woven into two 20-minute suites. I like it a lot."
I can't help but also be tickled a bit by the fact he wasn't sure if the drums on the tape were real or not - because the truth is they are samples, but samples triggered by me playing on a set of V-drums... so they're kinda both, I guess. Mwahahaha.
